Team Selection will commences once the registration has closed and will be done in conjunction with coaches feedback, grading notes (grading will occur in the last 5 weeks of the season), and the committee operations managers’.
Decisions are based upon the following principles:
– Players placed in sides based upon age and will only be considered for older age groups where place available
– Players will be selected in teams based upon similar ability and with a focus on team balance
– Subject to points 1 & 2, continuity of teams will be considered as part of the selection process
– Priority for selection of players in teams will be given to existing players
– Teams will be a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 8 players
– Changes to the team selection principles can be changed the discretion of the committee
